Arcade is a multi-functional gathering place in Kansas City's Midtown neighborhood, bringing together coffee, live music, coworking, local makers, and community events. Designed to accommodate a wide range of activities and people, the space called for a flexible visual identity that could reflect its many uses and evolve alongside its programming.
Designed by Kansas City architecture studio Hufft, the adaptive reuse project transforms an existing space into a gathering place for the surrounding community. Working in collaboration with the creative team at Venn, we developed a logo and signage system that reflects Arcade's diverse programming and multi-use character.
Building on that foundation, we created a flexible graphic system with adaptable templates for flyers, posters, menus, and other applications. Designed to be easy for staff and community hosts to use, the system provides a consistent visual identity while allowing for the variety of events, activities, and people that bring Arcade to life.
